She uses advanced scientific technology and biomedical devices for measuring and training physiological and neurobiological responses applied to the area of human health and performance. These techniques are research-based and allow for individualized assessment and training based on the brain and body ‘mapping’ and responses.

Dr. Stewart has over 10 years of clinical education and research experience in health psychology and applied psychophysiology. She holds a PhD in Clinical Health Psychology from Virginia Tech and completed her residency in Medical Psychology at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Stewart also holds two national Board Certifications in Neurofeedback (BCN) and in Biofeedback (BCB) from BCIA, Biofeedback Certification International Alliance.

Continuing research and education is essential to Dr. S. She is a published author in scientific research journals and invited presenter of her research at academic conferences. She acts as a consultant, conducts workshops, and also serves as a reviewer for peer-reviewed scientific journals. Dr. Stewart is currently the Co-principal Investigator for a study Examining the Relationship Between Physiological Activity, Intent, Placebo Effect, and Alterations in the Bioelectromagnetic Spectrum. Her professional memberships include: the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research (ISNR) and the Association for Psychophysiology & Biofeedback (AAPB).
